Nurturing Collaboration: CPCA's Health Center Site Visit Program
California Primary Care Association (CPCA) has developed a Health Center Site Visit Program, which launched in August during National Health Center Week (August 6-12, 2023). The program kick-off included nearly 40 CPCA staff, who visited 19 member community health centers (CHCs) across California in just five days!
During the site visits, CPCA staff witnessed firsthand the innovative approaches and best practices implemented by health center organizations across the state. The visits were promoted on CPCA’s social media to showcase the influence CHCs have in their communities, and staff left inspired and excited by new ideas and the passion health center staff bring to work every day.
A big thank you to all the health centers who hosted CPCA staff during National Health Center Week:

Outreach to members for participation in the program will continue year-round, and three more visits are already scheduled for the fall. Through the program, CPCA aims to increase visibility of the health center impact in California and increase opportunities for CHCs to connect with CPCA staff, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and relationship-building.
CPCA believes participation in the Health Center Site Visit Program will be mutually beneficial and contribute to the collective advancement of CHCs across California. If you have questions about the program, please email Elle Grant, Associate Director of Member Engagement, at egrant@cpca.org.
