COVID-19 Rapid Response Grants Support the Safety Net

The California Primary Care Association (CPCA) is heartened by the foundation response and support given to CPCA, regional clinic associations and community health centers in light of the COVID-19 emergency. Foundations, such as the California Health Care Foundation, The California Wellness Foundation, and The California Endowment, mobilized quickly to make rapid response grant funds available to support the clinic safety net in California. CPCA is thankful to have been a recipient of COVID-19 Rapid Response grants from the California Health Care Foundation, The California Wellness Foundation, and The California Endowment.

CPCA is committed to supporting community clinics, community health centers (CHCs), and networks to improve the health status of their communities. The rapid response funds awarded to CPCA have directly supported CPCA’s immediate efforts to support CHCs navigating the pandemic, the Regional Associations of California (RAC) in their work to support their CHC members, and directly to CPCA Member CHCs.
