CPCA’s Cohort Programs: Building Leadership and Community in Healthcare
As community health centers (CHCs) navigate an ever-changing healthcare landscape, CPCA’s cohort programs are designed to provide not just education, but a shared experience among peers who are evolving leaders in the industry. Our cohort models foster collaboration, allowing participants to learn from each other’s real-world challenges and successes while building meaningful professional relationships.
New Developments: HealthManagement+: Leading Through Change Together
Healthcare today requires strong leadership at every level of the organization. To meet this need, CPCA is proud to partner with Kiely Group to offer HealthManagement+, a cutting-edge management training program for current and future leaders in primary care.
This fall, we are thrilled to welcome Jeffrey Ring, PhD as a co-leader of Cohort 22 alongside Dr. Laree Kiely, President of We Will, Inc. Dr. Ring brings decades of experience as a health psychologist, leadership coach, and advocate for health justice and equity. His work in culturally responsive healthcare, leadership development, and practitioner wellness makes him uniquely qualified to guide this cohort through the complexities of modern healthcare leadership.
Dr. Ring served as Director of Behavioral Sciences and Cultural Medicine at the Family Medicine Residency Program at White Memorial in East Los Angeles for 20 years, working with underserved populations. His expertise in integrated behavioral care, healthcare practitioner leadership, and the delivery of culturally responsive care makes him an invaluable addition to this program.
Coming Soon: EmergencyManagement+: Ensuring Continuity of Care in Times of Crisis
Launching in Spring 2025, EmergencyManagement+ will equip CHCs with the skills and knowledge to respond to emergencies. CPCA, in partnership with Westward Disaster Consultancy, LLC, are excited to bring you our newest cohort program. This program, developed by direct feedback from CPCA-member organizations will provide a vetted, consistent, foundational CHC-focused training program for health center staff tasked with emergency preparedness and emergency management roles, and will be offered in a fully virtual setting. Joining this cohort will help build a community of leaders prepared for crises, ensuring continuity of care.
