CPCA Hosts Regional Listening Sessions throughout the State

As part of CPCA’s 25th Anniversary celebration, senior staff have been traveling the state to hear directly from members on what is working well and potential opportunities for change within the association. With the goal of building stronger relationships with members and Regional Consortium, CPCA has facilitated four member listening sessions thus far, and has three additional sessions planned in the coming months, in an effort to collect member feedback on important issues.

Specifically, the sessions have worked to ascertain information around the following areas of interest:

  • Access and Inclusion

  • Positioning

  • Communication

  • Innovation

The sessions we have had so far have provided us with some great information on what members currently feel CPCA is doing well, as well as general themes on areas of opportunity for the organization. It has also been a great opportunity for CPCA staff to get on the ground and hear directly from members where they are. Once complete, the information gathered will go to CPCA’s Board of Directors for review, help to inform the organization’s next Strategic Plan, and utilized internally to facilitate better member engagement and satisfaction.
